broadcast unit number:channel:message size
broadcast tests the Myrinet MCP and API broadcast feature. It sends and receives broadcast messages. It sends unicast replies to the broadcast messages it receives, and it keeps track of the replies that other nodes have sent it. With the resulting table you can determine how much of the traffic was lost in the Myrinet because of congestion, and which nodes were the worst broadasters, and so on.
In this example, three nodes (1 node on host metis and 2 nodes on host leda), broadcast to each other on channel 1. Every node on the Myrinet will get this traffic. Nodes without broadcast running on channel 1 will drop this traffic at the host. broadcast will run until you kill it.
