DAPL-GM Software

DAPL-GM is an implementation to the Direct Access Provider Library (DAPL) to allow Myrinet networks to be used for applications using the Direct Access Transport (DAT).

DAPL-GM is currently available under Linux and Windows. It is an implementation using GM over Myrinet and uses the sourceforge DAPL reference implementation from Sourceforge . The DAPL is part of the Direct Access Transport (see http://www.datcollaborative.org for further details). The naming of the DAPL-GM distribution tar file contains the version of the DAPL reference implementation (currently, version dapl_beta2.0.6 for DAPL-1.1 and dapl_gamma3.0 for DAPL-1.2 from Sourceforge) concatenated with the Myrinet-specific software version (eg 0.94beta) of the proxy.

DAPL-GM requires GM-2.0.15 or later, or GM-2.1.9 or later.
