GM Software

GM is a low-level message-passing system for Myrinet-2000 and Myrinet-1280 networks. The GM system includes a driver, Myrinet-NIC control program, a network mapping program, the GM API, library, and header files. GM-2 is available for PCIX-based and PCI64-based Myrinet NICs. GM-1 is available for PCI64-based and PCI32-based Myrinet NICs.

How to use the table below: Generally, all hosts on a single Myrinet network must run the same version of GM. If you have multiple types of NICs on your network, you'll need to use the higher GM version. For example, if you have PCI64 and PCIXD NICs, the appropriate GM version is 2.0.x.
