PVM-GM Software

PVM-GM is a port of PVM (Parallel Virtual Machine) on top of GM.

PVM-related documentation and information can be found on the PVM Homepage at ORNL.

Linux 2.4 for IA32, IA64, AMD64, Alpha, PowerPC	PVM-GM 3.4.4+16

The current PVM-GM release is compliant with PVM 3.4.4, which is the latest release of PVM from ORNL and has been tested with GM-1 and GM-2.

For direct communication between any two nodes, it will use GM over Myrinet directly while keeping PVM's dynamic features.

The gmpvm script can be used to set up variables for easy compilation.
