The current GM-2 software release for Solaris on UltraSPARC hosts is GM-2.0.11_Solaris. For further details, please refer to the Solaris Download Page.

The following performance data was collected with GM version 2.0.11_Solaris and Sun HPC ClusterTools 5.0. When viewing this data, please keep the following details in mind:

• No memory registration is supported in this version of GM. Myrinet PM uses memory copies for all message transmissions.

The raw performance data plotted in the graphs is available by left-clicking on each respective graph.

The test environment includes two Sun-Fire-V240 machines, each with a M3F-PCIXD interface on a 66 MHz 64bit PCI bus, connected by a Myrinet-2000 switch. Each machine has 2 UltraSPARC-IIIi 1002 MHz CPUs and 2 GB memory, and is running Solaris 9 on a 64-bit kernel.
